18-24-12 is a starter fertilizer for new lawns or when a soil sample calls for phosphorous. It s built to get grass seed started strong and growing fast. This starter lawn fertilizer is 18% nitrogen, 24% phosphorus, and 12% potassium. The nitrogen is 50% slow release to supply plant food for a longer period of time. For best results, this grass fertilizer should be applied in the Spring or Fall. One bag covers 12,500SQFT or 1 4 of an acre.
